Twice remembered . . .

They wanted to watch some videos after dinner on the computer, and I needed a shooting challenge. I turned off all the lights, and cranked up my ISO. They laughed watching Finn run as a baby and Tucker drive his truck in fast motion. They laughed, and laughed, and laughed, and remembered – it all remembered twice now.

Here is what they were watching. . .

My interest in photography stems from the urge to capture my two children as they change and grow. It began with snapshots and then mini shoots, and, has evolved into a impassioned pursuit. I see the world differently now – the pockets of light, expressions, and precious moments that I want to always remember. Their imaginations, their little ways of being themselves doing what they love. Even the crying, stomping ones.  To remember the beauty of two small boys growing up, together. The light, the moments, the expressions and feelings. They are always changing, making my life richer.  Shooting from my heart, as I cherish the everyday moments.
