This is Home | With a Toddler

I am loving all of the different interpretations of this challenge!  After a few toddler photobombs, I quickly realized that the best way to document my home without people (or pets) is to do it during nap time.  My original plan was to try to avoid shooting too many things that are child related.  HA!  Who was I kidding?!  When we first bought our house 5 years ago, it was immaculate.  We carefully chose paint colors, furniture to match the home’s finishes, and planned every detail.  But our house didn’t truly become a HOME until our third little family member arrived.  And ever since, this place has been covered in everything Ayden.  And you know what?  I LOVE it.

These are the details that tell our story right now.  The constant baby proofing, insane amounts of milk purchased weekly, pack n play in the bathroom (so that mommy can take a shower before bedtime), colorful artwork and photos of loved ones, little shoes that are being outgrown, and toys that can’t be contained.

This is home…with a toddler.
