More About this Documentary Family Photography Workshop

The photography workshop is for those who want to find their storytelling style within lifestyle and documentary photography. It is recommended you have time to shoot a few times each week for your assignments. At the heart of these workshops is a feedback-reshoot process to allow you to get the most out of the experience. Course materials each week include lessons and assignments developed to facilitate finding your voice and style as a storytelling and lifestyle photographer. Activities include self- and peer-critiques, shooting exercises, and instructor feedback (written and video) on workshop assignments and your online presence.

To get the most from the workshop it is recommended you own a DSLR/SLT, shoot in full manual mode, and edit in ACR/PS or Lightroom.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact me for additional information.

Business of Telling Stories – A minimum of 5 hours is a good guess for reading, participating, and shooting your assignments.  In week 2 you will need time to shoot and edit your client session. In week 3 you will need additional time to devote to peer-reviews and revamping your website, session guides, pricing structures, and marketing (if needed).

Do you need to be online at a certain time?
No, all the information is online for you to download and participate at your convenience.
